Confirmed from Middle River Terrace Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Dog-friendly

Relaxed site featuring a playground, a barbecue pavilion and a soccer field, plus a historic home.

What runners say about Middle River Terrace Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (179 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Free parking, clean place.”

Went here for the first time today. The equipment look nice and newer. seem like it wasn't for the smallest kids but geared towards older. But there was a nice walking path and a few Shady spots with benches. My son had fun here just wish there were fences by the street

Local neighborhood park. We've been doing takeout food picnics instead of dining in our driving all the way home - and this park is convenient for most restaurants in Wilton Manors. There is a small playground, a nice waking path and there are picnic tables scattered around the park, as well as several under a shelter.

This park has really come a long way over the years. It has gone from an eyesore to a focal point in the Middle River Terrace. It has something for everyone including a play area for kids, a fitness trail, a covered picnic/BBQ pavillion, a soccer field and as a crown jewel the Historic Annie Beck house.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 6 mentions

“I say it’s dog friendly cause I see many leashed dogs.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
