Confirmed from Midway Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Ball fields, picnic spots & a seasonal water park, plus a large recreation center with indoor pool.
What runners say about Midway Park
“Brought my nephew to swim We had a great time He enjoyed the slides The staff are courteous and friendly Clean environment Great snacks Will definitely be back”
This park is lovely! The trees are plentiful, walking trails are well-shaded, and there’s a swing set (for mom)! The only downside is that when it rains, the wooden ground around the equipment is a magnet for deep puddles. Naturally, the kids play in the water, and we all know who gets to clean that up!
Attached to the Family Life Center but rarely too busy; we come here for a bit of outdoors. Porta Potties & grounds have always been clean when we have visited. Playground for the younger kids. Lots of picnic tables, walking path, little creek, trees, squirrels, birds.
This is a nice park with four pickleball courts, water park, playground, walking paths and a volleyball court. Great for taking your pup on a walk too.
Great! I can always get my walks in, sit out, police always nearby and most importantly, I dont have to worry about smelling dope! Not knocking the ones that smoke, but this is a place where families with children and pets come to relax and enjoy the outdoors!! Keep to yourself and should have no problems.
Trail conditions & character
“We like to talk here sitting or casually swinging, wave & smile at the dog walkers & exercisers.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
