Confirmed from Little Bear Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I absolutely love the walking trails out here, lots of trees and there are 1/4 mile markers so you’ll know how far you’ve walked & water fountains to refill your water bottles & dog water fountains too.

First time on the trails here and it was great. The walking/biking trails are mostly paved. The beginning of the trail near McCormick has a gravel path but still good for bikes but not rollerblading. The trail travels through two parks along the villages. Overall, the trail was well kept and clean.

Wonderful nature trails spanning miles with occasional water fountains and port-a-potties. Depending on how far you walk you will pass multiple playgrounds, a dog park and a large pond with a dock. Be mindful if you walk at night, coyotes are out in groups. Flashlight that strobes will scare them off though.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
