Confirmed from Military Trail Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Small park but good enough for the dogs to run and get their exercise done! Lots of squirrels so they go crazy most of the times. Parking is easy on the street. It is all light up at night.

★★★★★ — Sandra , Apr 2019

This park offers walking/jogging trails and is located in a smaller Miami Shores neighborhood. It also has a fenced-in dog park that was built about 5 years ago. There are park benches and tables. There are mature trees that offer shaded areas. It is a nice quiet smaller park for the neighbors.

★★★★☆ — Astrida , Jul 2024

Great park for doing a bit of light exercise, but even better for walking dogs. There's a separate fenced in play area for small and larger dogs. Very nice! The water fountain has a dog water fountain too! 👍🏼

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
