Confirmed from Baywood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Baywood Park
“very small but nice location with beautiful views of the city and free parking.”
“Located in MiMo, Baywood Park is peaceful, quiet, great location to enjoy sunset views of Edgewater/Downtown from a different angle.”
A beautiful public park. A lot of dog walking, there are ppl doing yoga, running. We did picnic here💕
The park is small, but it has a looping paved path, some benches, coconut trees, and a small mangrove in the middle of its sea wall. Relative to other nearby public spaces, there aren't many you can chill on the shore of Biscayne Bay.
A very calm view and wonderful park to listen to and enjoy the water. The walking path is so close to the water. A quiet place to chat or snog, 🥰😉
Missing restroom. Good for walking but not for skating. There is plenty of parking space. Nice views. Good breeze

“Probably one of my favorite parks to chill and be close to the water, there's always cute dogs around too which is always a plus.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
