Had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised!! Flat trails, easy and free parking, beautiful marshlands filled with birds, turtle, and flowers!! A surprise given it's location behind a shopping center.
Its a very nice place for a beautiful tranquil walk. Lots of ducks, birds, snaks and groundhogs and whatever else nature has for us. Some days it gets a little smelly, when water leves are low, but other than that I enjoy it very much.
Very pleasant trail to walk, but be sure to bring bug spray... some of the mosquitos might require a bat to keep them away! Seriously lots of bugs. But the walk is otherwise pleasant and goes for quite a distance. No facilities so be sure to make a bathroom stop first ;)
A great local escape for an afternoon walk. Very peaceful park with very few visitors. You will most likely have the spot to yourself. I love the walking trails and the bridges. Lots of wildlife and different kinds of plants.
