Confirmed from Mill Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mill Trail
The park is great for walking, running, jogging and biking. The trail meets up with Goudy Park. On the other side of Goudy Park is Washington Trail. All told, just using that length, there is a mile long trail.
We liked this place for a nature walk in the middle of town. Connected to Dynamite Park. Went 2.6 miles round trip, including both of them. I believe Mills Trail, about a mile or so, round trip, was a straight, paved trail connecting two roads with lighting along the way ( though one person noted it's not functioning…
It's a pretty cool little walking trail- especially to be set in between two residential streets, it's actually VERY COOL.. I even heard what sounded to be a little waterfall in the woodsy forest..I went there about 8:30 the other night, walked the dog about half the trail and turned around and went back to the car.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
