Confirmed from Shafer Park, Wayne, Michigan's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Shafer Park, Wayne, Michigan
“Great park for the little community, very calm, very peaceful.”
It's one of many great parks in the city of wayne. The benches and picnic tables were recently painted, and new lines sprayed along the walking path and basketball court. The DPW, along with the Parks and Trails committee, also cleared up lots of overgrowth along the fence line and in the mulch beds.
