Confirmed from Miller Road Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
14-acre lakeside park with picnic tables, BBQs & a gazebo, plus a trail, fishing pier & boat launch.
What runners say about Miller Road Park
“Beautiful park with benches to sit & enjoy the views while listening to the waves”
“This park was beautiful, clean, peaceful and had a lot of fish to catch .”
A great place to take a casual stroll, get some fresh air, or bring family & friends and do up a nice picnic. Beautiful views, space for the kids to run around on. Loads of gardens. Many different styles. 🌹🌺🌷🌸🥀 A regular spot.
It's an incredible place! You can walk, walk your pets, take the kids, sit and read a book and even enjoy the sunset. It's wonderful, I recommend it.
Restrooms are not open during winter months but this is a very cool pier on Lake Erie. Sunset or sunrise views can be breathtaking. The pier is also very cool in winter when there is ice covering the railings & benches. Be careful when walking!
Miller Road Park is a nice and peaceful place to relax. The park is clean and great for walking, playing, and spending time with family. It also has a good spot for fishing, which makes it even more enjoyable. There is plenty of open space, and the playground is fun for kids.

Plan your run at Miller Road Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
