Confirmed from Veterans' Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a beach and picnic tables, plus a boardwalk and lake access.
What runners say about Veterans' Memorial Park
“Veteran's Memorial Park is a cute, clean park with access to the beach.”
“Beautiful little hidden gem of a park with benches, picnic tables, and a building with wraparound porch with rocking chairs to sit and admire the gorgeous scenery of Lake Erie.”
This is a pretty park with a gorgeous view of the water. There are plenty of tables and benches to sit at. You can walk down to the water and put in kayaks. I would visit here again
Great park and lake view! We can watching sunset, hiking ,fishing, picnic
The veterans memorial is nice, but the real gem is the surrounding park and lake access! I was able to walk the beach, looking for "sea glass," interesting rocks & driftwood. It was a very pleasant time, and everyone I met was very friendly.
I love coming here to walk and enjoy the lake. Plenty of benches to sit on. Beach access. Covered porch if you want to watch the lake in the rain. I haven't lived here long, but I come here frequently. They take good care of it, and the winter decorations are beautiful. I can't wait to see it in the spring. 💖
