Confirmed from Mills Pond Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This place is gorgeous. 😍🤩 My dog had a great walk around the pond. The fall colors are beautiful right now. Lots of families walking around the pond, people jogging, and walking their dogs. Its clean and nicely laid out. It looks like there's also a disc golf area somewhere, but I didn't go too far today.

This is a lovely Park area tucked away in the Wells Branch development. The pond itself is rather large, and offers a fishing pier. There are numerous picnic tables, benches, and other facilities including restrooms and a water fountain. No playscape is provided, however.

A very interesting park with an extensive trail leading to a beautiful pond. The pond is very picturesque and the fishing pier gives it a very regal look. There are ample photo ops. The kids swings on the way were nice. There was also a large bench swing that my kids really enjoyed.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
