Confirmed from Stoney Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large open space offering a dog park, a soccer field, disc golf, a playground & exercise equipment.

“Lots of shaded areas to keep you and your pet cool.”
Good place for a walk or to sit down and eat at picnic tables while you enjoy the outside. Has a small playground, a walking trail, grass field, soccer field, work out/Strength training bars, pavilion, and restrooms. Offers an enclosed dog release area. A good amount of people come here everyday.
Great place to walk our dog around the park and through to the disc golf ⛳ trails. AWESOME park 🏞️
Nice park with a dog park, frisby golf, exercise stations and paved walking paths.
If you’re looking for a place to walk in the small forest and pathway, this is the place to go and have that experience. It’s open and safe.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
