Confirmed from Milton Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great place to walk around and experience nature. I often come across deer and have even seen a fox or two. Also a great place to go fishing for those who enjoy that. I do wish everyone would take better care of cleaning up after themselves.

Caught my first fish here with my dad in the 1970s...still a beautiful park today! Nice to see the fish are still bitin' here too. Quiet and clean, nice place to walk.

Good for smooth walk, photographers like me love it especially the wildlife. Spring and fall best moment.

It is a beautiful place , peaceful, and the water is fresh and clean that you can walk in the river. But the only thing that you have to watch out especially for toddlers and babies is the mosquitoes I went with my wife and son and I there was so much mosquitoes. Sadly my son’s face is really swollen .

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
