Confirmed from Miner's Ravine Orvietto Drive Entrance's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Don't see the "ask" button so I will put it on reviews. Does anyone know if this creek/ravine allows gold panning??? Other than that it's a great place to fishing during the summer, plenty of blue gills and bass for the little kids to fish.

It's a gorgeous place, and it's cool and comfortable in the early mornings this time of year. Parking available from sunrise to sunset Beautiful place, It's not too hot, but it's a little cold if you don't move. This season is the best for walks. There's lots of greenery, so let's go for a walk.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
