Confirmed from Minto-Brown Island Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
898-acre site with paved trails in open & wooded areas, picnic & play areas & an off-leash dog park.
What runners say about Minto-Brown Island Park
“The paths are well maintained and people are polite and 99% obey the rules when it comes to their dogs.”
“The other areas are great for walking running biking and dogs must be leashed.”
“Easy walks on and near the Willamette River.”
“There are always people here either at the dog park or walking around the park taking it all in.”
The path down to the river is mostly paved and was used by walkers, joggers, bicycle riders and stroller pushers. A nice wide path allows faster movers to safely pass.
Great place for a long or short hike with or without your pooch! The trails are large and fairly clear of mud, depending on the trail you decide to hike. There are always people here either at the dog park or walking around the park taking it all in.
I love this place! Fantastic dog park too! Miles and miles of paved and off road trails! The dog park is always so fun! So many wonderful dogs and people. Please make sure if your dog doesn't do well with other dogs running up to them, leash or stay home. This is an unfenced open and trail area for unleashed dogs.
Our first visit to the park was nice. We walked 3 - 4 miles on paved trails, which is a small segment of the trail system. The trails were in good shape, and most were wide enough to accommodate all multi-users. The scenery was enjoyable. We look forward to returning in spring.
