Confirmed from Riverfront City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverside green area with a playground, an amphitheater, a carousel & the Eco Earth Globe sculpture.

“Green grass everywhere, beautiful looking globe thing, a clean bridge and walk way.”
“Miles of paved trails as well as smaller dirt paths to walk/ride on, all with beautiful views as well as a good portion being river side.”
“This gorgeous family-friendly park has a river with an actual river boat plus kayaking potential, too.”
“There is a large, modern foyt bridge crossing over the river that gives plenty of room for walkers and bicycle riders as well as the many dogs walking through the park.”
We just moved to the area and need a place to sit and eat lunch. I looked on maps and found this park. It is a beautiful green space in a bustling city. A nice respite from the busy days of apartment hunting. My dog loved the walk, but was a little scared of the rivers edge. 😁 We will definitely visit again.
Love the paved trails here for my scooter. Miles of paved trails as well as smaller dirt paths to walk/ride on, all with beautiful views as well as a good portion being river side.
This is a beautiful, clean park with miles of walking and biking trails. This gorgeous family-friendly park has a river with an actual river boat plus kayaking potential, too. It has a playground with swings and tables for picnics and gatherings. Manicured perfect grass everywhere. Picnic perfect!
Traveling on a road trip with a toddler made us look for parks specifically. This one I chose because where I'm from they have a riverfront park that is beautiful, so I figured I'd go to the one here🤷🏼♀️. It was amazing!! Green grass everywhere, beautiful looking globe thing, a clean bridge and walk way.

The practical stuff

- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
