We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Monee Reservoir yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a lake for fishing and boating, plus trails amid grassy lawns.

This is a very nice quiet place. However over the years the geese or ducks have made a mess. You can't even walk around the path without trying not to step in the geese or ducks poop. I suggest some one come wash the walkway down daily.
Very pretty place. I went here this summer to go on a walk and it was amazing. Amazing views lots of stuff to look at. Great for fishing and even if you just wanna sit back by the lake and chill. Seen some wildlife, pretty views, seen lots of cute animals.
It's a nice area to get your walk on. Our dog really enjoyed getting her smell on. Most of the people on tal had dogs, actually everyone we saw had a dog. Grassy paths make it easy on the feet and knees.
Visited this 248-acre reservoir and 46-acre lake. Two picnic shelters on site. The 1.66-mile trail is perfect for hiking and running, with skiing in winter. Fishing and boating are both excellent.
