Confirmed from Monfort Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly area featuring soccer fields and picnics as well as a roller derby rink.
What runners say about Monfort Park
“Clean and safe with lots of soccer fields and 2 T-ball fields for the little guys.”
Nice park for a walk. Clean and safe with lots of soccer fields and 2 T-ball fields for the little guys. Plenty of parking with restrooms and benches. Really nice park.
This park is used for different things. Like soccer in the fields. Or roller hockey in the rink. But I love to come during the week to Walker run because nobody's there. They always take really good care of the grass.
Love love love this park. It is extremely well maintained, has a lovely in accommodating civilian restrooms wonderful walking paths a crate soccer field and several areas we're different sports can be played so there is more than enough room for everybody including bicycle Riders.
This park is mostly used for sporting events like soccer games, flag football, etc. It has 3 parking lots so parking has never been an issue. It's got a nice picnic pavilion as well. There's a good walking trail that goes around the perimeter of the park. I can't recall if there are bathroom facilities.
Trail conditions & character
“The 3 parking lots can be quite a walk, especially when carrying pop up tents, cooler, etc.”
