Free parking and entry! A very beautiful place, especially in autumn 🍂 😍. It was my fifth time coming there. Definitely my favorite hiking place so far 💜.
Beautiful grounds and great family friendly setting in the park. For beginner hikers, parents with kids or if you don't want to travel big distances. You can stay on the smaller paned loop or go on the different colored trails present.
Montgomery Pinetum Park is a 125-acre park located in the Cos Cob neighborhood of Greenwich. The park is home to a variety of trees, including pines, hemlocks, oaks, and maples. There are also several ponds, a garden education center, and a 1.9-mile trail that winds through the park.
This is a very nice park. The main path is paved for those who just want a walk in the park. Then there are unpaved trails for the outdoorsy type. To clarify a previous post by another person, the park is open dawn to dusk. The parking area next to the botanical center closes its gate at 630ish.
