Confirmed from Moon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Massive 300-acre park & recreation hub with a pond, walking trails, tennis courts & picnic areas.
What runners say about Moon Park
“It's a great park my kids love going there and there alot of different equip to play on and they keep it clean”
Good park but don't just stop at the first playset. Over the hill and into the valley is a larger playground with equipment for a range or ages including toddler equipment, a splash pad, and a tall spaceship shaped playground set. A set of four toddler swings and 4 regular swings. Ball parks and walking trails..
This is a fantastic park with something for everyone! There are many different play structures ranging from large shuttle shapes on turf to slides using the hills to sand and log balancing. Plus a splash pad to keep cool in the heat. There's a pond with a bench, access to trails, and lots of sports fields.
This park literally has everything! Over 3 miles of wooded hiking trails, to a couple miles of "in park" trails, to playgrounds, splash parks, pickleball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball court, volleyball court, batting cages and so much more. This park truly became a home away from home.
The park is really kid friendly. There is all kind of swings, slides and stuff. They have a splash pad for kids. There are multiple baseball/softball fields, tennis and pickleball courts, walking trails and a fishing pond. The park has multiple places to have a small picnic and also some pavilions.
Trail conditions & character
“It's enormous, has tons of play areas, a splash pad, basketball court, soccer field, baseball diamond, free parking, and REAL restrooms.”
