Confirmed from Morgan County West Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly park, featuring playgrounds plus ballfields (including baseball and soccer).
What runners say about Morgan County West Park
“Great park to take the family relax an let the children play the park is nice an clean well kept”
Football, baseball/softball, soccer fields and a basketball court. Really nice archery range, with plenty of shade and walking track and playground.
4 baseball fields, 3 soccer fields, 1 football field, pavilion, playground, walking tack and nature trail. And hardly ever crowded. Love my park.
Other then parking being an issue. It's fine. When there is a handicap parking spot with the extra space marked by blue lines giving the person the extra space they need to get in an out of thier car into thier wheelchair. It would be nice if idiots don't park on the blue lines that are clearly not a parking spot.
Go Hawks! Great park for youngins, shaded picnic area, walking trail, archery. Very fortunate to live a mile away. The kids, parents and community make this place very special.
Trail conditions & character
“The bathrooms could use another stall or 2 and sometimes parking gets hectic during baseball tournaments and football games but hey we treasure our youth and love our sports.”
