Confirmed from Mountain Peak Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 10 mentions

“Live this quaint neighborhood, safe and fun for whole family ,well maintained playground”

Nice place for the kids to get it and play. Paved jogging trail, basketball courts, covered playground, and lots of open fields. Plenty of parking and restrooms as well.

★★★★★ — Zac , Apr 2019

It's a great community park. There is climbing equipment, swings, slides that are all plastic/metal and covered! Nice walking paths as well. There is a gazebo with plug outlets and several barbeque grills. Bathrooms and water fountains are fairly clean.

★★★★★ — John , Nov 2016

Clean park with covered playgrounds makes more enjoyable in the summer. Restrooms are always clean and there's a nice walking trail around the park.

★★★★★ — John , Jul 2019

Great park with half mile walking trail, playground area and basketball court; and pavilion for rental. 2 ball field areas for games/practices.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
