Confirmed from Mountain View Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, skate area, picnic tables, and BBQ grills, plus soccer and kite-flying opportunities.
What runners say about Mountain View Park
“Soccer fields Skate park Super nice clean city park”
“Beautiful view, peaceful scenery nice place to take your dogs or have a picnic with your family”
This is a comfortable park for our church potlucks because it has the large oversized Pavilion to get out of the sun or out of the rain. There is room to run around as well as a playground and other amenities. It has lots of parking and lots of grass area up and behind the Pavilion.
Lovely shady green park seems safe. play area for kids clean. Nice walking paths. Kids skateboard rink. Unfortunately I see quite a few dog poops even though there is a notice to pick up dog poops for owners. Otherwise a lovely spot. I had a nice break and lunch on a long car trip.
It is a good park, not much of a play ground but it has a skate park and good place to walk your dogs and have picnics

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
