Confirmed from Mountain View Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring 2 playgrounds, a basketball court and tennis courts, plus a picnic area.
What runners say about Mountain View Park
“Nice clean park with tennis courts, full size basketball court 2 playgrounds and plenty of open grass for flying kites or picnics.”
Nice neighborhood park. Dogs are allowed and there are poop bags and receptacle provided. I did wish there was actually water in the creek bed. Nice walking path, playground areas, and basketball court. Plenty of park benches, picnic tables, shade trees, green grass, and at least one shelter.
Trail conditions & character
“It's a very nice park that's unfortunately next to some homeowners that never leash their chihuahuas that will try to chase you and your dogs, but they don't do any physical harm.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
