Confirmed from Muddy Branch Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Muddy Branch Trail Head
“Beautiful trail with excellent topographical variation.”
Lovely little adventure hike with my son today. We walked for an hour or so, relaxed by a creek and watched fish for an hour, and walked another half hour before turning around. He loved every minute of it and we both enjoyed the scenery and the natural environment.
Beautiful trail with excellent topographical variation. Lots of bridges and steam crossings that are good for light mountain biking or jogging/walking. Great escape from the hustle and bustle and truly feels like a nature reserve.
Very nice trail. At points there are roots that are bumpy, but overall it is a very well kept trail. Super fun to ride or run.
Nice neighborhood place to walk. Usually quiet. I've walked the whole 10 miles and enjoy it all.
