Confirmed from Muskego Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This has been one of our favorite campgrounds to date- we loved the hiking trails, beach and swim area (so did our dog!) and the fishing dock. We had the best site with lots of room, trees, and shaded areas. The park was quiet and peaceful.

★★★★★ — Harleigh , Jul 2025

The park has well-maintained facilities and a variety of recreational options for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The campground is clean and well-kept, Be aware that you'll need to purchase a Waukesha County Park Pass in addition to the per-night site fee. The park's pond is perfect for swimming and fishing.

Beautiful Park.trails are Normally maintained it also has a pond and a camp ground. Only downside is you never know which bathrooms are going to be open. You also need an pass to get it in. They do offer poop bags at the entrance which is nice. Lots of people walk on the road so be aware of that.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
