What runners say about Natchez Trace Yockanookany Trailhead MS 43
“Once in October which was gorgeous and open.”
Great trail. Just hilly enough to get the blood pumping and great scenery.
I've run this trail twice. Once in October which was gorgeous and open. Once at end of April where greenery taking over trail as seen in video, but manageable. I would not run this trail in height of summer for fear of ticks, ivy, and redbugs.
has a lot of different options. from a small loop trail, a 7 Mile hike, 16 mile, and a 24 mile hike.
Starting place of many road and gravel rides. Tim, John, Marsha, Frank and Gaines.
