Confirmed from Natural Lands' Hildacy Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Gorgeous view of reservoir from Hawk's Eye View in Hilda's Meadow.”

Wow superb place. Absolutely natural terrain - walking in the woods, stream and the birds. It's quite educational as well - conservation of plants species / plantation. Worth visiting. Plenty of parking.

A wonderful protected wildlife area. Well maintained trails with a good mix of wildlife zones. There are a few surprises if you take the time to look around and enjoy.

First visit here's lots of foot traffic if you're looking for a more secukded hike or time this could suffice but I saw someone every 20-30 minutes. However they were all extremely friendly and curious to what I was doing (rockhounding) had some great conversation and folks pointed me in the directions I wanted to…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
