We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Upper Providence Preserve yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Upper Providence Preserve
“No scenic views, no wildflowers, no sunny seating because of the thick bamboo.”
Disappointing at best. First of all 8 acres is not big enough to be called a preserve. No scenic views, no wildflowers, no sunny seating because of the thick bamboo. Surely your township’s money could have been better utilized on something else.
Cute little nature preserve on 8 acre land. Mulched walking trails through the woods and 3 wood bridges going over a trickling brook. Nice benches throughout the park.
