“Great, quiet place to walk and enjoy the view.”
First time visit At the very end of Baseline Road in Highland, CA I came across it while I was on a day drive It is situated next to a new housing development So parking is limited. Parking is not allowed along the street next to the trail Not sure if Parking is allowed in the neighborhood.
A hidden gem right in the city. The trail was well used, but could be cut back and widened incase of snakes. Plunge Creek is full of graffiti and the interpretive signs vandalized, but the views and the flowers blooming are worth the stop.
First time going there, made it to the Marrgaret bench. I took my dogs. There isn't much shade for them so I didn't want to go much further. It's an easy trail that runs along Baseline street. On the way back down it can be difficult because the dirt is smooth because of past rain. Looking forward to going back.
Lots of dogs on the trails. The trails are shared amongst the hikers, bikers, and walkers. Some of them can be very tight so be prepared to make room.
