Confirmed from Nature's Way Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Nature's Way Trail
“The views of the lake are beautiful from this trail!”
“This is an easy trail with a few small hills- Great hike!”
Nice, easy 3.41 mile hike (red trail) around the lake. Trail runs close to water entire way. Water was low today so got to see lots of scenery we otherwise would not have seen.Trails are wide and clearly marked. Frequent resting areas (even covered pavilions) along the way. Several small bridge crossings too.
Went on a drizzly, cloudy Saturday in January- only about 4 other people on the trail. The trailhead & the trails are marked well. The views of the lake are beautiful from this trail! It’s also a dog friendly trail- we let our water obsessed goldens off leash a few times for a swim!
Easy hike with gazebos and benches, nice wide trail. Our dogs love this hike.
