Confirmed from New Brooklyn Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean park featuring a lake, playgrounds and trails, plus areas for baseball.
What runners say about New Brooklyn Park
“The park feels safe and welcoming, and it’s always clean and well-kept.”
“I am blessed to have this beautiful park near me .”
“It's quiet, you can fish if you get a license, and there's a little dock if you want to use it as a kayak launch or something.”
“If you’re looking for a family-friendly park in Brooklyn, this is definitely the place.”
It's well kept, but also not much to it. This used to be a golf course, but now it's a disc golf course and general park. There's one long path that's windy and has sand patches based on how the water flows when it rains. There's usually always a basketball match going on, but I favor the lake at the end of the path.
I wanted see something new while walking the dog. The exterior of the park is well kept. There is a lot of underbrush on some of the back trails. Some areas are marsh. I came home with some ticks on me and the dog. Shake your clothes out and brush your dog. Since it was new for us we enjoyed it. Be careful.
Awesome new playground! Bathrooms too by the parking lot. Benches to eat inside park gate. Gate locks so kids can’t run out. Things for all ages!
Fairly small park with nice paths and woods, there's a lake at the far end of the park where many people fish. There's lots of stuff living in the lake and the surrounding forest. There's also a playground, outdoor meeting area, basketball courts and a few other things. Great place to walk around and enjoy the outside.
