We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Winslow Fish and Wildlife Management Area yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large wilderness area with trails for hiking and driving, plus fishing.
What runners say about Winslow Fish and Wildlife Management Area
“I took one of my grandkids coyote hunting for a few hours near an old quarry, the woods are beautiful and the lake views were great.”
Great for hiking and fishing and hunting and biking or exploring the area.
I took one of my grandkids coyote hunting for a few hours near an old quarry, the woods are beautiful and the lake views were great. We didn't see any game animals but since she is seven years old and active I didn't expect to. The area is diverse with hardwood forests, pine trees and some swampy areas as well.
This is a great place that has just about everything you need for your household. The staff are friendly and very helpful. If you can't find something they will take you to the aisle and pick it up for you and explain how it works and where you should put it.
Great trail to go driving on...just make sure you 4x4 works cause I sure didn't and I got stuck lol....thankfully a few nice people arrived to pull me out I didn't get there names but if they see this I just wanna give a big thanks from me and my daughter!!!
