Confirmed from New Hope Creek Trail North's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about New Hope Creek Trail North
“This Trail starts out easy, but as it grows more beautiful along the creek it gets more difficult.”
Great walk and such a beautiful place. Very relaxing and not hard at all. Family and friends and my four legged animals loved it
This Trail starts out easy, but as it grows more beautiful along the creek it gets more difficult. There's one point along the creek that you have to scale some rocks to continue along the path. The work, however, is worth it. There's some nice inclines and the view is always spectacular.
Great hills and fantastic views. I hope you do not mind navigating along rocks on part of this trail.
Fantastic hike today beginning at Gate 23. Really surprised at the beauty between the concrete bridge and Piney Mountain loop. Very rigorous trail due to climbing the large rock formations along the creek.

“The trailhead is not the greatest, as it is paved with gravel, but you soon will come to a nice, rustic foot trail through the trees.”
