Confirmed from New Smyrna Beach Pedestrian Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about New Smyrna Beach Pedestrian Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (135 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Really enjoyed the walk. There are some cool little side trails and a Frisbee golf course through the woods.

★★★★☆ — Grant , Oct 2023

Good quality trail. Self explanatory. About 2.2 miles total. It starts at jungle rd and pine st, and ends at sugar mill

★★★★★ — Matthew , Dec 2024

Nice trail for biking or walking. There is a bathroom near otter lake and there is a frisbee golf course near that bathroom aswell. Currently there is some erosion from hurricane Ian, but I'm sure the city will have that fixed shortly, just be careful near those areas.

★★★★☆ — Dave , Nov 2022

This trail is amazing and fun to go to. It's surface is plain concrete and includes 2 bridges with great views. You pass a barn, and when at the end, congratulate yourself for taking and completing this trail. Overall this trail's great and you can see wildlife and I am excited to go here every time.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
