Confirmed from Newark Sportsfield Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Soccer field destination with a skate park and a baseball diamond, plus hiking trails.
What runners say about Newark Sportsfield Park
“Field is well maintained and plenty of parking space.”
I went to the Newark Sportfield Park to watch my husband playing a soccer game. It was a Saturday afternoon and the whether was very nice even though it was very hot.
It’s unfortunate that this park is so small, it gets packed inside quickly & it can get hectic, especially when the main space is either the run up or landing space of almost all of the obstacles inside the park (besides the bowl).
This place is awesome 👍 the park is amazing . Wonderful views 💯 there hiking trails off the beaten path 👍 and to top it off there's a skateboard park with awesome flow great concept . You should visit this place
Well kept soccer fields. parking is great but could run out of space on busy sports days.
Trail conditions & character
“There are plenty of parking spaces compared to many other soccer fields.”
“I think it's pretty good by seen it and not doing much wish there were baseball field bathrooms but its cool I guess”
