Confirmed from Newburgh Pointe's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic lake known for kayaking, canoeing and fishing, plus walking trails.

It is a great area for walking, running, and kayaking, etc. Nice place for enjoying some outdoor activities.
If you have not done the Hines Drive Park 17 Mile ride you definitely need to do it to see all the little parks along the way. A lot of the parks like Newburgh Point have great fishing an easy parking. Also a lot of them have hiking trails that are along the river.
Those 8,000 steps really paid off to explore around Newburgh Lake! The lake views were totally worth it. We'll definitely be back to hit up these trails again in the fall. Just remember to watch out for those bikes – some of them move fast!
I love this place and come here every spring summer and fall. There's a spot a bit down from here that I like to walk to. So I can hammock, relax and read. Also a great place to sit by the water and just relax.

“The lake loop is a very nice hike on the other side of the lake, one side feels like walking along a busy road and other side feels like a proper Michigan lake hike!”
“Not only do they have bathrooms and a beautiful pavilion but they also have beautiful docks and kayak and canoe launches.”
