Confirmed from Nichols Green Phase II's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Nichols Green Phase II

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (57 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Great park! There's something for everyone here (basketball and tennis courts, wide open fields, frisbee golf, playgrounds, walking trails, etc.) Plus they have a splash pad! Spent almost 3hrs there today having a picnic with the wife and kiddos.

Brother and I made a short stop here. As usual the facility is well kept a true pleasure for a quick walk or a leisurely stroll also has playground, splash pad and disc golf course as well as picnic tables and benches.

★★★★★ — Margie , May 2019

Absolutely love the upgrades the city's parks department is doing to the parks. Filling in the play area with new mulch was a big plus and the new benches along the walking trail are such a welcome bonus!!

★★★★★ — Shelley , Mar 2024

Love the place. It's good to get away from the noises of life. You can wal, run, take your kids to the park or play basketball or baseball. And the most important, you are surrounded by nature.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
