Confirmed from Nockamixon State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Comprehensive review: Nockamixon State Park in Bucks County PA is a true gem. With 5 full size boat launches and 1 non-motorized launch by the cabins, you have many ways to get your watercraft on the lake. This is also a very good sailboat lake and there is a sailing club that uses the park.

A Hidden Gem at Nockamixon State Park What a beautiful walk I had today with Bella at Nockamixon State Park! I entered through the fishing pier entrance and chose the paved trail—after all the recent rain, I wanted to avoid the mud. It ended up being a perfect 2-mile walk filled with peace, fresh air, and scenic views.

Large State Park off of Rt. 563 in Bucks County PA with a massive lake to use for boating and fishing. There is a large marina where individuals keep their boats for the summer and visitors can sit on nearby benches to relax.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
