Confirmed from Norman O. Houston Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Pocket park offering basketball courts, a kids' play area & picnic tables as well as city views.

Perfect space for small-medium scale gatherings. Nice mix of sunny and shady spots and the recreational equipment is well kept. Wish that more space was allocated for parking, but the small lot on the southeast corner of Labret and Stocker is convenient for overflow parking and just a short walk across the street.
I visit this park to get some walking in, it's a small park with a nicely defined walking path for those looking to take an easy walk or jog. I like this park because it has a late closing time so I can go around 5 or 6pm and comfortably take my time without feeling like I have to be in & out before closing.
Enjoyed my morning walk and workout on the machines in the park. Even decided to let the Lil' Girl inside of me SWING for awhile.. Sssooo enjoyed the wind on my face!!
Came here around 10 a.m. for my children’s school physical education test day. They were running their timed mile, and a lot of people were already walking the track. The park sits right in the middle of a busy intersection, but once you’re inside, it feels like a solid community space.
Trail conditions & character
“The drawback is that the parking lot is smaller so if it's a busy day then you can be out of luck.”
“Restroom pretty clean, needs better lighting, restroom on end facing basketball court lock needs repair, there are 4 restrooms and all handicap accessible.”
“The sheer openness will draw you in and the nice view will keep you stay.”
