We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of North Bend State Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“All in all we had a super time on the lake and I would highly recommend if you just need to get away to a really peaceful spot this is one of the places I would go.”

This is a review of The Lodge in the park. We stayed here 2 nights to cycle the North Bend Rail Trail. The Lodge is located almost near the midpoint of the trail. Our room was clean and modern, the beds comfortable, the bathroom modern and the shower hot.

Memorial Day we rented this boat for a little over $200 for a whole 6 hours. We had a blast taking turns driving around the water watching The birds and wildlife around us. We caught 6 small Bass too little to keep. So bye bye little fishies.

We stayed in the cabins for two nights, which was a great deal. Featured very modern kitchen appliances, nice furniture, good TV (a little small), and a fireplace, to name a few. I felt truly relaxed out there. The trails were nice, but not super well marked.

Beautiful area. Can't wait to come back and try out the trails. Looked at cabins that were wheelchair ♿️ accessible and we think we found one that will work. This is a plus for us. Just because you have a ramp into a place doesn't mean it's accessible. Alot of places need a lesson on this.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
