This is a hidden gem. The trail is good for children and strollers. Not that many visitors during the weekend. There are trails off the main trail that are ecologically sensitive so wouldn't reccomend anyone on a bike, or stroller on those trails, just stay on the main one. Very pretty scenery too.
Small parking area with a Porta potty.. Trail borders a nice vineyard and blackberry bushes before reaching the area near highway 12 and Sebastopol. 2021 was dry due to drought, so the ponds were empty.
Love this walk but may not go back... someone smashed a window of the nicest car in the lot. Guess this could happen anywhere but I have heard of this happening here before.
I really enjoy hiking here on this Trail except there was people that were breaking into cars at this location I'm go later too hope to not have that happen.
