Confirmed from North Macon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with a baseball field, playground and trails.
What runners say about North Macon Park
“I went there for my grandson basketball game and as always the center and the park area was well kept and the facility and the grounds very clean”
“Beautiful grounds and clean facilities, worth going back to visit!”
As great as this park is, trail goers be warned! It is absolutely ridden with spiders of all sizes due to its underuse. The path is also not very worn so be sure to grab a picture of the path before you start. It’s very beautiful, but the spiders were just too much. You’ve been warned!
As a Brit I love walking there aren't many pavement/sidewalks in residential areas to walk on👎, one Saturday I heard kids playing and wondered where this was happening so I followed the sound and came across this park and found baseball games being played,I sat down and watched for an hour as I have no clue about US…
Went there for early voting! Beautiful grounds and clean facilities, worth going back to visit! I saw markings for trails and hiking is a great activity for my whole family.
Great Mountain Bike trail here, but kinda hidden out back...some fine folks have started clearing and restoring it...check it out!
