Confirmed from North Platte Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with paved trails, plus a disc-golf course, play equipment and riverside access.

Great Park for so many different reasons Great for walking dogs disc golf biking good view
The North Platte Park in Casper is a great place. It is along the walking path behind the North Casper softball fields (another great place to hang out). The North Platte Park is a wide open area to play or just to hangout and watch the people or animals.
Great place to walk a dog. Very pleasant walking trail. Disc golf course set up.
One of our nicer parks . . There's not alot to do right around the bridge area it's mainly just a big hiking trail ,through and around the wood.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
