We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of North Tonawanda Audubon Nature Preserve yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about North Tonawanda Audubon Nature Preserve
“Trails are well marked, but some downed trees need to be removed from the paths.”
Had an excellent time visiting during an evening meetup. Nice group, great host. The trail was easy to navigate, even at night. Parking was close to the entrance. Will definitely need to go back during the day. Wear long pants and sleeves if you can, to avoid poison ivy and whatnot. Bring bug spray or lotion as well.
Trails are well marked, but some downed trees need to be removed from the paths. They need to do a little maintenance on the trails.
I love walking through any kind of woodsy pathways he asked me there's not enough of them
