Confirmed from Gratwick Riverside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular riverside park featuring a playground, walking paths and picnic tables.
What runners say about Gratwick Riverside Park
“Awesome view Great parking area and chairs to sit and relax Well maintained for a small city owned park.”
“Beautiful way side park, biking, picnicking, playground, small pier”
Discovered this park as we were driving and had to stop and take in the landscape. Scenic and calming. Plenty of parking spaces and not busy during the week.
This Park is typical of the riverside parks from Buffalo to Niagara Falls, being a long thin strip between a road and the Niagara River. This one has a great mix of aspects to keep people interested. At the southeast is a wilder section, with light trees, scrub bushes and plants, birdhouses, and mown walking paths.
If you enjoy time beside water while sitting on your car...this is a lovely place. You can also have a walk beside water but there not much option to do so. The breeze, wave, sight and sound of Niagara river crushing on stone/shore makes this amazing. There are shades too for enjoying time at this park.
Beautiful views of the river. Long pathways for walking/biking/etc. Sometimes there are big events there some pavilions to picnic under. A couple of playgrounds... It's a great place!
