Confirmed from North Z Boaz Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🐕 dog-walking favorite 3 mentions

“Our dog likes to walk around the park so it’s nice how big it is and we can walk around a couple of times and she’s happy.”

Best off-leash-able dog park I've found. Massive wide open, yet unclosed, spaces intermingled with scattered sidewalk paths. Up and down and around. Just please be a responsible dog owner

Honestly, what more can you ask for in a dog park. This place is amazing. One of the biggest dog parks I've ever been to. The pond in the middle is really what makes this park unique. Plenty of shade and seating for humans. Plenty of space to run, swim and play for dogs. We drove 1.5 hours to this place. Worth it.

Nice walking/biking trails, play ground for the kids, multiple ponds, and 2 separate dog parks ( one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs). Both dog parks have water features for them to play in. There's tons of room for your dog or tiny human to run and play. It's great for an afternoon walk or picnic.

Awesome dog park with lots of room for my dog to run and play with other dogs. Had a pond that he can jump into too! Also, great place to watch military planes come in for landing.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
