Confirmed from Oak Canyon Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature park featuring oak forests, scrubland & canyons, plus wildlife & an interpretive center.

“We have been here to this easy hike and recently and our 14 months was able to walk the trail, and enjoyed the informative exhibits.”
Its a great hiking trail. It offers few hiking paths, so you can pick based on your interest. The path next to the river is the easiest one, pretty much flat. Lots of birds to see along the hiking paths. There is also an small set of old mining facilities which is interesting to see.
Nice place to exercise or enjoy nature. All the trails are clearly marked and easy to follow. Some trails feel like you can get lost (stream trail ), but they all loop around and put you back at the beginning. No crowded before 10 am. Free parking. Free, but there is a donation box.
What a wonderful hidden gem. Amazing trails with beautiful foliage. Trees provide wonderful shade, lots of benches on trails to sit and enjoy the scenery. Great place for kids as they have little attractions here and there for them to play with. Lots of families go here.
It is a good place to hike. When you are at the center. There are many different trails at the same place for discovering. I went in May-26-24. There also has archery on Saturday morning. Walking up hill there are many kinds of flowers. Walking down of hill there are many big trees and shades.
