We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Oak Canyon Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Oak Canyon Trail
It's a great place to bike and walk and for the kids you should look our there is a a cliff side.
i hiked this after hearing it was a bit of a workout and honestly i was pleasently surprised how gorgeous it was once you get past the first steep part. the views from the top of the canyon totally made the steep climb worth it, never expected such a payoff from a random Saturday morning hike.
