Confirmed from Oak Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Neighborhood park of natural beauty, surprisingly tucked away, as yet another quiet getaway for a quick workout, walk, stroll, picnic and meditation! I first noticed this photogenic green space with Google Maps, en route to La Mirada Creek Park, which I almost mistakenly assumed are parts of the same park, as they…

Aaaaahhhh creek park, or as my kids have renamed it to "the squirrel park" 😄 Such a GoRgEoUs park hidden off imperial hwy in La Mirada. A 1 mile cemented walkway loop circling green rolling hills with a creek running through the middle all throughout, an amphitheatre at the far east end, giant trees, shade, shade, and…

A beautiful landscaped, very green and well maintained park. There are no bathrooms or public parking lot, you can park on the street near the Mormon Church except for Tuesdays as its street sweeping day.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🤫 Quiet / uncrowded 7 mentions

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
